Determine which hardware platforms are supported by the more resource hungry 2014 version of code.

Which hardware platforms are officially supported.

The hardware refresh for the JSA x500 series was followed sometime later with the release of 2014.  With the release of the newer, more resource intensive (cpu, memory, disk)  software code of 2014, came hardware performance issues on existing hardware platforms.

To deal with some of the performance issues encountered, Juniper quickly released another series of hardware that was much better suited to handle the requirements of 2014 code and also any increases in minimum requirements for future releases. This was the JSA x800 series hardware, now the recommended platform of choice.  The following platforms have been certified to run 2014 code by our QA and PLM:
