Description

Use this procedure to collect all logs required by JTAC to debug or troubleshoot issues reported in Contrail.

Symptoms

This article describes how to collect logs that JTAC requires in order to debug or troubleshoot Contrail issues.

Solution

From the cfgm node, execute the following commands:

cd /opt/contrail/utils/
source /etc/contrail/openstackrc
fab attach_logs_cores:/tmp

The above commands will take 15 to 20 minutes to complete as they will tar all log files from all nodes. The tar file is stored under /tmp of the cfgm node. It can be uploaded by following the instructions in KB23337 - How to upload large files to a JTAC case [juniper.net] .
