Description

All current STRM platforms are shipped with an old software image (i.e., 2009.2). In situations where an STRM appliance which was running a more recent version (i.e., any version later than 2009.2) is replaced, the new STRM is shipped with old software image. This article explains how to do a clean installation to get back to the desired (more recent) version.

This procedure avoids stepped upgrades to the desired version, in cases where there is no data to be preserved.
