This article describes the issue of a child link being removed from a AE bundle and re-attached to it in Junos.
When a member link goes down, it may not get instantly re-attached to the bundle, when it comes back up
Junos software has been modified to correct the defect. The modified code is available in Junos releases 10.4R8, 11.2R4, and 11.4R1 or later. As a workaround, when a member link goes down and does not get re-attached to the aggregate interface, an operator can deactivate the member link and then activate it. This sequence will re-attach the link to the aggregate interface, which enables it to resume the carrying of traffic. This issue is being tracked under PR 695895 .
