This article explores the availability of an OID for the resource error counter, which is present in the ethernet interface statistics.

The availability of an OID for the resource error counter , which is present in the ethernet interface statistics.

Currently, no such OID exists for the resource error counter nor are there any plans to add this in the near future. The resource error counter is displayed in Input errors , which is present in the ethernet interface statistics.

Resource errors are the sum of transmit drops and are seen in Input and Output errors.
