This article provides information about the possibility of VLAN re-tagging or re-writing via multiple logical units, which belong to the same Reth interface.

To re-tag or re-write packets from VLAN-10 to VLAN-20. The packet is coming in from Reth 0 Unit 10 and should go out through Reth 0 Unit 20 .

• SRX has two Physical Interfaces, which are part of the same Reth Interface.
• On the Reth Interface, multiple Logical Units are configured, which belong to separate VLANs.

• It is not possible to re-tag or re-write VLAN-ids through multiple Logical Units (or Physical Interfaces), which belong to the same Reth interface.
• At least two Reth Interfaces must be configured for VLAN re-tagging or re-writing to work.
