This article provides information on how to disable/enable OpenNMS on Junos Space.
Stop the Network Monitoring service on the WebUI and disable the OpenNMS service:
1. Go to Platform > Administration > Applications , right-click Network Management Platform , then select Manage Services . The Manage Services window opens. 2. From the Manage Services window and with "Network Monitoring" highlighted, click the Stop . (buttons may look different in new versions) A Confirm Stop Service pop-up will open. 3. From the Confirm Stop Service window, click Yes . (warning may look different in new versions) 4. The Stopping service process will begin. This might take a few minutes to complete. Note: Do not click anywhere on the WebUI while the Stopping service process is running. 5. When the Stopping service process is complete, a Status pop-up opens showing the result of the operation. 6. Recommended: Reboot the primary and secondary Junos Space nodes. This can be done to redistribute OpenNMS memory allocation to the mysql and jboss process.
Note: You can Start or Restart the service (from the Manage Services window), and enable OpenNMS again.
