Description

Junos Space displays the time at the local PC's time zone, but the time is saved as UTC on the Junos Space host OS.  See below for additional information on how time is displayed in Junos Space

Symptoms

Information on how time is displayed in Junos Space.

Solution

In Junos Space, the time is displayed as seen below:

The time and date shown in the Junos Space interface corresponds to the Junos Space Host system.

To see the time set on the Junos Space host from the command line, use the following command:

[root@space-000c ~]# date
Wed Apr 30 14:17:31 UTC 2014


Note that the time zone displayed in the command line is in UTC. The time displayed in the Junos Space Interface is the same as the Junos Space command line, but converted to the local PC's time zone.
