The temperature shutdown behavior is localized to each chassis; which means that increased temperature at SCC is isolated to only SCC. Each LCC will remain powered up, as long as LCC's local temperature is low. However, losing SCC (TX matrix router in the routing Matrix) from the multi-chassis system means that the entire system is lost, as there is no controller for hanging LCCs.
