NAT in Junos Packet-Mode is not working

This article applies to:

•    SRX and J devices running Enhanced Services Junos or Junos 9.3 onwards
•    Device is configured in packet-mode  (See KB11963 - Configuration for Junos with Enhanced Services to behave as Junos in Router Context [juniper.net] )

• NAT is configured, but it is not working.  The IP addresses are not translated.
• Is NAT supported on device in packet-mode?

NAT does not work on a device in packet-mode. This is because NAT is a security feature, and it does not pertain to Junos devices that are NOT running Security Services (i.e. in Packet-Mode).  Security Services uses Flow Mode.

•    Source NAT
•    Destination NAT
•    Static NAT
