Configuring Multiple Output interfaces in an Analyzer.

Symptoms

By default, more than one interface cannot be mapped as output interface on an analyzer. However, there is an option of mapping a VLAN as output.  This can be used to create a VLAN-like Analyzer with multiple interfaces and map this VLAN - Analyzer as Output, in order to map multiple ports as Output ports.

Solution

Note:  This can be done only on EX-8200 series.

Configure as follows:

set vlan Analyzer interfaces ge-0/0/0
set vlan Analyzer interfaces ge-0/0/1

set ethernet-switching-options analyzer TEST input ingress interface ge-0/0/2.0
set ethernet-switching-options analyzer TEST input egress interface ge-0/0/2.0
set ethernet-switching-options analyzer TEST output vlans Test
