Configuring IPv6 on a VLAN interface

Symptoms

  • Configure family inet6 on vlan interface
  • Configure family iso on vlan interface
  • Configure IPv6 on vlan interface

Solution

Configuring IPv6 on vlan interface is not supported.  Beginning with 10.0R3, 10.1R2, and 10.2R1, you will not be able to configure family inet6 on vlan interfaces.  The same restriction is true for family iso.
