Description

This article provides information about the PFEMAN reconnection logs that are generated when RE switchover occurs.

Symptoms

During graceful RE switchover (GRES) you may find the PFEMAN reconnection logs as shown below:

Feb 17 23:25:15.312 2010 core01.bat fpc3 Routing engine PFEMAN reconnection succeeded after 1 tries

Solution


This is normal behavior. PFEMANs on all FPCs will try to reconnect to the new primary RE when RE switchover occurs.
