This article provides information about the features that are not supported in the Chassis Cluster on the high-end SRX series security gateway.

    • IPSEC VPN

    • Active/Active configuration

      • Multicast traffic streams are not supported on SRX-series chassis clusters.

      • For SRX 3000 and SRX 5000 line chassis clusters, screen statistics data can be gathered on the primary device only.

      • Remote-Access VPN using NS-Remote client is not supported on SRX 3400, SRX 3600, SRX 5600, and SRX 5800 chassis clusters. It is supported in standalone mode. 

      • IDP feature is not supported in Active/Active chassis clustering

      • Packet-based protocols. All packet-based protocols, such as Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS), Connectionless Network Service(CLNS), and IP version 6 (IPv6) Services interfaces functions.

      • Any function that depends on the configurable services interfaces as below:

        • ls-0/0/0-Link services Multilink Point-to-Point Protocol (MLPPP)

      • Multilink Frame Relay (MLFR)

      • Compressed Real-Time Transport Protocol (CRTP)

      • gr-0/0/0-Generic routing encapsulation (GRE) and tunneling

      • ip-0/0/0-IP-over-IP (IP-IP) encapsulation pd-0/0/0, pe/0/0/0,

      • mt-0/0/0-All multicast protocols

      • lt-0/0/0-Real-time performance monitoring (RPM)

      Notes :

      • The Active/Active configuration can have more than one interface Redundancy-group on a chassis cluster.
      • High-end SRX includes SRX-5800, SRX-5600, SRX-3600 and SRX-3400.
      • The Features, which are not supported in JUNOS 9.5, are also not supported in JUNOS 9.4.
