This article details how to configure Pulse Secure, which was formerly known as Juniper SA, to send syslog events to JSA, formerly known as STRM.
Juniper no longer owns or supports Pulse Secure, but we have provided information so that it can be integrated with Juniper JSA.
The DSM guide for JSA outlines how to configure the JSA side to receive events from Pulse Secure, but it does not provide instructions on how to configure Pulse Secure to send events to JSA.
JSA must receive events from Pulse Secure in the WELF format but does not outline how. The JSA DSM guide simply states the following:
For steps 2 and 3 in the JSA DSM guide, refer to the Pulse Secure documentation on how to do this. Ensure that you are referring to the correct version of documentation that corresponds to the installed version of code on Pulse Secure for accurate instructions.
When you have completed the instructions from Pulse Secure, proceed with step 4 in the JSA DSM guide to continue with configuration on the JSA side.
