SRX Admin configures peers-synchronize between 2 MNHA nodes and and while doing commit-check or commit, gets the below error:
error:
error: netconf: could not read hello
error: did not receive hello packet from server
error: Setting up sessions for peer: 'EGK-PF03' failed
warning: Cannot connect to remote peers, ignoring it
The peers-synchronize config is correct.
Correct SSH host-keys are present on both nodes.
There is a SSH connection rate limit configured as 3.
The peers-synchronize feature uses 3 simultaneous SSH connections for connect, transfer and copy the config to the peer node.
Hence, rate limiting the SSH connections to 3 will cause the peers-synchronize to fail with Error.
Have the SSH rate limit config removed or adjusted to a higher value for accommodating the required number of SSH connections.
SRX > set system services ssh connection-limit 3
