Description

ACX device is not reachable from Junos space due to EX switch reboots

Solution

Below is the observation summary:

> The ACX device is not reachable from Junos space & is showing down

> The EX device connected to the ACX is continuously rebooting

> Due to this, ae0 interface & its child interfaces are down from ACX

> The Junos space is using source IP of irb.2102 on ACX for connectivity

> This irb is added under the vlan MGM (management vlan) where the only physical interface is ae0.2102

> Hence the irb is down & the source IP for Junos space is in reject state

> So, we need to bring up ae0 to restore the Junos space reachability for this ACX


The issue was resolved after replacing the EX switch.
