We have already performed soft reboots on the SSR devices; however, the affected interfaces remain down and continue to appear grayed out in Juniper Mist. Is there a hardware issue?
The interfaces in the mist ui are greyed out and the peer paths are down.
The interfaces were set administratively down. Thus, the paths were down, arp/bfd were having issues. The paths won't come up until the interfaces are up and we get bfd/arp responses. Ethtool shows the provisional status is up but has no speed/duplex so interfaces are powered but the OS/router isn't using them yet.
The ports were enabled which brought the peer paths up.
