This KB describes the subject line used for alert email notifications generated by Mist.

Alerts are configured for all sites, but the email subject line does not include the switch name. 

Current email subject line example:

[Mist.com] Alert Switch reconnected in Site <Site_Name>

Expected email Subject to include the Switch hostname:

[Mist.com] Alert Switch <switchname> reconnected in Site <Site_Name>

Alerts in Mist are configured at either the Site or Organization level. Therefore, the email subject line includes only the site information and does not display the switch details. However, the body of the email should include the switch information, such as the hostname.

The correct syntax for the email subject line is shown below:

[Mist.com] Alert Switch reconnected in Site <Site_Name>
