Description

The SSR managed through Mist is running 6.2.x while the latest version from "firmware upgrade" option in Mist UI is 7.1.4-3.r2 or higher.

Can SSR be directly upgraded from 6.2.x version to 7.1.x? If SSR is in HA, is there preference which node should be upgrade first?

Solution

SSR managed through Mist running 6.2.x can be directly upgraded to 7.1.x firmware from Mist UI.


If SSR is in HA, recommendation is to upgrade the primary node first. That way once the secondary node is upgraded, it makes the primary node active.
