How does the traffic load balancing mechanism work on SSR's managed via Mist platform?

Is it packet based or session based?

All the traffic steering through SSR managed via Mist is per session based. The traffic is steered between all the available paths defined through traffic steering profile in Mist Wan Edge Templates.
