A memory leak condition has been observed in the eventd process on devices running affected Junos OS versions. Over time, the memory utilization of the eventd process increases steadily without being released, which may eventually impact system stability if left unaddressed.

Gradual and continuous increase in memory usage of the eventd process over days/weeks

Workaround:

• Restart eventd process temporarily clears the accumulated memory.
• COMMAND: restart event-processing all-members gracefully
