Description

In Juniper Space Security Director 24.1R5 Hotpatch v2, when configuring a route-based site-to-site VPN with both the local and remote proxy IDs set to 0.0.0.0, Security Director incorrectly deploys the proxy IDs as 0.0.0.0/32 on the managed device instead of the expected 0.0.0.0/0.

Symptoms

  • When you configure the local and remote proxy ID to 0.0.0.0 in a route-based site to site VPN in Security Director, 0.0.0.0/32 is pushed to the device instead of 0.0.0.0/0. 

Solution

This issue is resolved in Juniper Space Security Director 24.1R5 Hotpatch v3.

 

Upgrade to Hotpatch v3 or later to ensure that proxy IDs configured as 0.0.0.0 are correctly deployed as 0.0.0.0/0.
