SRX may fail to import the last IPv4 entry from a Dynamic Address feed when fetching from an external feed server. The device fetches the file successfully but displays one fewer entry than is present in the server feed file.

• Dynamic feed fetch shows success.
• IPv4 entry count on SRX is lower than the entry count on the feed server.
• The last line of the feed file is not imported.

Workaround:

** Use either option:

1. Add a newline at the end of the feed file

• Ensure the feed file ends with a blank line.

2. Add a dummy IP address at the end of the file

• This forces SRX to read all valid preceding entries.
• Monitor for 2–3 days to confirm consistency.

Solution:

The issue is resolved in later Junos OS releases.

Upgrade to any of the above versions.
