In Mist-managed SRX environments, a security log stream configuration under group named "Mist-wa" pushed to the SRX from MIST for application tracking. This typically occurs when you select "Device HAS an APP Track license" or " Use site setting for APP Track license" in the Mist portal. This article describes how to remove this configuration via the Mist UI.

To remove the security log stream Mist-wa configuration, you must disable the application tracking within the WAN Edge device settings. Follow these steps:

1. Log in to the Mist Portal.
2. Navigate to WAN Edges on the left-hand sidebar.
3. Select the specific SRX device you wish to modify from the list.
4. Scroll down to the Application Visibility section.
5. Select the option: "Device does Not have an APP Track license".

Note: Selecting this option informs Mist that it should not push the default application tracking log streams to the device.

Note: This change will not delete the App-ID package from the SRX device and traffic where security policies have Dynamic-app mapped will not get impacted.
