During packet analysis, it was observed that the Windows DHCP client does not request all options during the initial DHCP DISCOVER/REQUEST exchange. Instead, it later sends a DHCP INFORM message to explicitly request additional configuration parameters.
The Juniper SSR DHCP server responds with a DHCP ACK, but the response does not include Option 234 or other requested parameters from the INFORM request.
This results in missing DHCP options on the client side, even though the client explicitly requested them.
This behaviour is a known limitation in Juniper SSR.
https://128technology.atlassian.net/browse/I95-61693
The fix for this limitation is available starting from Juniper SSR version 7.2.x and later.
