This article explains the issue while deleting the software images from SDC if it fails with the following error:

Some or all of the selected images cannot be deleted by logged in scope

This is expected; we can't delete the predefined images from the SDC Portal. The images that were created for the users spadmin and systemadmin are predefined. This will not utilize the allocated storage.
