Solution

Recommended Procedure:

  1. If conductor is on a version older than 6.3.5, you must first upgrade to 6.3.5 before performing the upgrade to 7.0.1.
  2. If the 7.0.1 firmware download fails, ensure “Software Repository Offline Mode” is set to false.
  3. Download the 7.0.1 software package again.

Recommended Fix if Download Fails:

If the conductor fails during Step 2 of the recommended procedure, check the setting of “Software Repository Offline Mode” and change it to “False” if need be. To locate this setting, navigate to:

“Configuration” > "Authority" >
“Routers” > Select "conductor" >
"Router Settings" > “System Settings” >
"Software Update Settings" > "Software Repository Offline Mode" > toggle to “False”

Step by Step Guide of Fix:

  • Navigate to “Authority” under the Configuration category in the Left-hand Menu:

  • Select the conductor by clicking on its Name from within the Routers list:

  • Navigate to “System Settings” found under Router Settings category

  • Scroll down to “Software Update Settings” category and toggle “Software Repository Offline Mode” to False

  • Download the 7.0.1 software package
