Capabilities of ethernet ports for SSR130 and SSR 120 devices that were recommended in this page as HA data/sync ports.

SSR130 it is ge6

SSR120 it is ge4.

SSR router following configuration was tried but did not work

1G/Full duplex

100M/Full duplex

1G/half duplex

100M/half duplex

None of them is working, the interface stays down physically.

Background: By default fiber/copper combo ports on the SSR120/130 devices were designed to be ha-fabric and ha-sync.

The rationale for the decision was that in a ha-sync/fabric role there would be guaranteed interoperability since they were plugged into each other.

SSR product does not prevent a user from assigning these ports as WAN. and in such cases review of port configuration to ensure interoperability with connecting devices is needed
