This article explains how to create application policies with dynamic applications from the MIST UI.

To add an application policy with a dynamic application, go to:

Organisation> WAN > Application page, click the Add Applications button.

Enter a name of your choice in the Name field. Check "Apps" for Type.

Now click on "+" and type the dynamic application you want to apply.

Now use the created application in the application policy.
