This article explains the steps to safely delete logical systems (LSYS) from an SRX device using the Junos Space Network Management Platform.

• Need to remove LSYS configuration from an SRX device.
• LSYS instances no longer required in Security Director or Junos Space.
• Configuration cleanup required after LSYS removal.

To delete logical systems from the Junos Space GUI:

1. On the Junos Space Network Management Platform user interface, select Devices > Device Management. 
2. Right-click on the logical system you want to delete and select Device Operations > Delete Devices. 
3. The Delete Logical Systems pop-up window is displayed. Click Confirm to proceed with the deletion of the logical systems.

Note: When you delete an LSYS from Security Director/Space, it removes the LSYS-related configuration from the device.
