This article explains why certain utm configuration lines may remain in the SRX configuration even after UTM features are removed, and provides a method to reset the predefined categories and filters to factory defaults.

After removing UTM configuration from the SRX device, the following lines may still be seen in the configuration:

To reset the predefined categories and base filters to factory defaults, use the following command:

root@SRX> request security utm web-filtering category uninstall
