Description

This document describes a detailed procedure for replacing a faulty store SSR Box with a brand-new SSR and when it shows Disconnected in the Condutor.

Symptoms

The new replaced SSR device shows Disconnected in the Conductor.

Solution

Once you connect the new SSR device in the network, we need to follow the steps below in order to connect it to Conductor.

  1.       Reset the Asset ID from the conductor (click on reset) in Conductor GUI > Configuration > Authority > Router > faulty Node.
  2.     Validate and Commit. After that, the conductor will generate new asset id to be used for new SSR hardware.
  3.       Upgrade the new SSR to the standard version using a bootable USB.
  4.       Download the quickstart file (Conductor GUI > Authority > Router > <faulty SSR node > click on Quickstart Link)
  5.       Deploy the quickstart file to the new SSR (Open a web browser and access https://<conductor_IP>/quick-start)

Mostly, due to an incorrect/old Asset ID, the new SSR device shows as disconnected.
