Description

This document explains the issue where with rib-sharding enabled, IPFIX exports wrong SrcAS / DstAS fields.

Solution

When BGP-sharding is enabled, shard thread sends as-path information along with route to main-thread.

When parsing and updating the as-path data in main-thread, aspath-index is wrongly reset.


This is a software bug fixed in PR: 1852278.
