This is a minor alarm "QoS License(289) usage requires a license" observed on the device due to the use of pre-existing license related to class-of-service to enable Hierarchical Queueing (HQoS) feature on the affected device. This minor alarm gets raised due to the presence of default class of service configurations on the affected device, even when HQoS is not configured on the device.
As a fix, a new license specific to HQoS is introduced, which gets enforced for "set interfaces <ifd-name> hierarchical-scheduler" configuration stanza, and this new license does not trigger the minor alarm for the presence of default class of service configurations on the affected platform without HQoS configurations.
There is no traffic impact due to this issue.
