An Uncontrolled Resource Consumption vulnerability in BIND component of Juniper Networks Junos OS allows an unauthenticated, network-based attacker to cause Denial of Service (DoS).On all Junos OS SRX Branch Series, and SRX4000 Series platforms, when DNS proxy is configured, and specific DNS queries are received, resolver's performance is degraded. This denies legitimate clients access to the DNS resolution service.This issue affects:

For this issue to occur, DNS proxy should be configured on the SRX device.
