Problem


Due to a late-discovered critical software issue, Juniper Networks recommends that Junos OS 11.1R1 not be installed on any EX Series platforms. Details of this issue will not be released at this time, pending availability of replacement software.

Solution


This problem will be addressed and resolved in the next service release of Junos OS 11.1S1, with the expected release date of 2011/04/29. Until then, it is strongly advised to delay any Junos OS 11.1R1 upgrades until the Service Release is available. Customers currently running Junos OS 11.1R1 are strongly advised to temporarily downgrade to an earlier release.
