Problem

Juniper Security Threat Response Manager STRM 2500 and STRM 5000 require an update of the firmware on the RAID controller and the Hard Drives.

Solution

In order to improve the reliability of the STRM 2500 and STRM 5000 appliances, Juniper recommends the following upgrade. A very small percentage of units have been affected by premature drive failure and/or data loss. The update procedure is applicable only to STRM 2500 & STRM 5000 appliances.
